WELCOME BACK!

Welcome back! We are excited to start another fantastic year at HMS. The first few days of school are all about learning to be successful; practicing responsibility and adjusting to being back in the classroom. Students will also be writing goals, "Beginning With the End in Mind!" 

In addition, students will be working on an original design based on a positive character trait or their name. I can't wait to see their creative drawings! (Below are some finished examples I added after the original post was published.)


I would like to thank all the parents who have already taken care of sending supplies - it is very much appreciated! We need those wet wipes! 

ART SUPPLY LIST:
      Grades 6, 7, 8:
  • One binder (one inch wide, preferably with pockets) or a folder to store art papers. Binders will also serve as sketchbooks this year. I will provide blank paper for students to draw on. 
  • Two #2 pencils (the regular kind, not mechanical)
  • One package of hand wipes - the cheap Wal-Mart kind works great!
Grade 6 only: one small bottle of school glue
Grade 7 only: one box of tissues
Grade 8 only: one small bottle of hand sanitizer
